The Colorado NeurologicalInstitute Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors is honored to once again participate as a beneficiary in the Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival and field a cycling team of 100 riders. Starting this year, Team CNI’s participation in E-Rock will be named the Charlie Wolf Lasting Legacy Ride in memory of our dear friend, Charlie Wolf, and in honor of his generous, caring family.

Proceeds raised through the Charlie Wolf Lasting Legacy Ride will support vital CNI Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors programs such as research, the HeartStrings program, healing services, and the Patient & Family Support Group. In 2010, Team CNI raised more than $26,000 for the Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors, and in 2012, with your help, we look to raise the bar even higher!

Riders of all abilities are welcome! Our 100 spots are for riders of any distance and will fill fast, so if you’d like to join Team CNI please contact Lorre Gibson at 303.806.7420 or by e-mail ASP. You can also click here to access information on joining Team CNI.

Join Team Zimbabwe and you will help provide daily meals, clothing, school fees, and medical support for nearly 1,000 children, many of them orphaned by AIDS. The AIDS pandemic in Zimbabwe has left thousands of children with no parents, no means of feeding or clothing themselves or providing for their medical needs. With one of the highest HIV rates and one of the worst economies in the world, the children are left to fend for themselves, often with pre-teen children trying to care for their younger brothers and sisters.

The Zimbabwe Mission Partnership (ZMP) is a 501(c)3 organization in the Rocky Mountain region that has banded together for over 10 years to meet the desperate needs of these children. Among other things, the ZMP operates the Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care Center and two satellite centers that now provide daily meals, clean water, and medical treatment for the children.

Team Zimbabwe is the fundraising arm of the ZMP, Register to ride for Team Zimbabwe and you will receive full event benefits. Team Zimbabwe promotional gifts and part of your fee will be donated to the ZMP. For registrants that reach additional fundraising goals, you will also receive a limited-edition Team Zimbabwe cycling jersey inspired by the children we care for every day.
