Colorado Neurlogical Institute

Touching Lives
Changing Futures

For the past few years the CNI Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors has been a beneficiary of the Subaru  Elephant Rock Cycling Festival.  Again this year we have the opportunity to field a cycling team of 100 riders.  Won’t you consider joining the team in supporting this CNI Program?

Be a donor, assist as a fund raiser or ride one of the many courses.  With so many different courses, start times and riders of different abilities, riders will not necessarily be riding together during the day.  Ride at your own pace and watch for the Team jerseys along the course.  Gather at the CNI Tent afterwards and share stories.

Monies collected will go directly to support such services as research development, The HeartStrings Project, and numerous other patient support services, including Healing Services and the Patient & Family Support Group.

Medical Chair – Edward Arenson, MD

"Becoming involved with CNI was a “no brainer” in 2007 when I heard about the wonderful work they do with their patients and how they are able to help patient’s families through the Heartstrings program. Ironically, a year after becoming CNI’s Community Chair, my husband had a benign brain tumor removed and we relied heavily on the expertise of Dr. Arenson and the great people at CNI. Amazing how life can come full circle. I am SO proud to ride in the 2010 Subaru Elephant Rock Ride with a CNI jersey on my back. By signing up with our CNI team to ride in the Subaru Elephant Rock, you will help patients and their families with meals, household chores and many other necessities that aren’t always top of mind when a loved one is going through major medical treatment. Trust me, I’ve been there and everything slips your mind. Join our 2010 team, buy a cool jacket or just make a donation. The great folks at CNI will see to it that your gift is put to good use.Hope to see you on the road – make sure you say hello if you see me!”

“The Annual Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival is the principle fund raiser for the CNI Center for Brain & Spinal Tumors which helps us to carry out our mission: To create and develop a program for all patients with tumors of the central nervous system that will provide the most effective, comprehensive and compassionate care available, and to maintain a team of committed professionals who tirelessly strive to improve survival and quality of life for their patients.”

Team Zimbabwe - Serving Orphans

JOIN TEAM ZIMBABWE - ELEPHANT ROCK CYCLING AND CHANGE THE LIFES OF NEEDY ORPHANS

Team Zimbabwe is a dynamic group of people who want to enrich the development of children struggling to receive the basic necessities of life - health, safety and the hope for a future. The Zimbabwe Mission Partnership was created to save the lives of orphaned children in Zimbabwe with the simple belief that "Together we can make a difference!" Join us in changing the lives of thousands of orphans in a rural region of the world's most impoverished country. You too can make a difference.

The goal of the Zimbabwe Mission Partnership and the Renewed Hope Charitable Foundation is to help with the nutritional, educational and health needs of these children, while also providing the community assistance with building a sustainable infrastructure and leading individuals toward self-sufficiency. In the last year alone, These partners daily feed and care for the needs of over 1,000 children. Through the efforts of supporters like you, government school fees are being paid to allow them to attend school, and a medical clinic is providing care to children with various health issues and illnesses, including HIV.  Let's not turn away even one orphaned child! Will you make the difference in an orphan's life between food and no food; between decent clothing and rags; between good health and sickness; between learning and sitting in school too hungry to pay attention? Nearly 100% of every dollar that is raised goes directly to fund the needs of the children and immediate community.

We are excited about our new partnership with the Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival. Join Team Zimbabwe today and improve the lives of thousands of children in the Murewa region of Zimbabwe.
